How to Natural Highlights feat.Lemon Juice

For the summer I'm thinking about highlighting my hair and at first thought about using bleach but I don't want to damage my hair. So when I was talking to my friend about getting highlights she told me about lemon juice. Lemon juice I know, at first I thought she was crazy but after watching a few videos about it I now know why lemon juice is the best way to go. It's healthier, shines your hair and makes it smell fruity and of course gives you highlights. I think I'm going to try it out the first week school is over. Let's begin!

Materials: •Lemon juice (the bottled kind)
•water
•spray bottle
•comb
•shampoo
•(no conditioner it won't make the highlights last)
•Sunlight!

Step 1: wash your hair as you normally do with your shampoo. Fill half of the spray bottle with the lemon juice and add a little bit of water to it.

Step 2: Spritz your whole head and comb throughly so the juice can go to certain parts to get highlighted. Or you can choose pieces of your hair to spritz to get what your looking for.

Step 3: Go to the park or sit on your porch do something outside so the Sun can hit the hair you coated with lemon juice .

TIP! *stay outside for 30min and check your hair through out the day and see the changes*

¡IMPORTANT!

Black hair-->dark brown.

Dark brown-->light brown

Light brown-->blondish tint
